This is a "facelift" for the Apple CD player. The old buttons were pretty ugly. So I made them better. They are now 3-D colored versions. To use these buttons though you must have version 2.0 of the AppleCD Audio Player and version 5.0 of the Apple CD-ROM extension and also the verison 5.0 of the Audio CD Access extension. These came included on the most recent version CD-ROM setup software from Apple. It will not work on any previous versions of the software. It would look pretty bad. Always remember to work on a copy of AppleCD Audio Player just in case.
To install:
Open up the AppleCD Audio Player with ResEdit and the Better Look file simultaneously. Copy the cicn resource, the MENU resource and the mbtb from the Better Look file and then click on the AppleCD Audio Player window. Now paste the resources in. When ResEdit asks if you want to replace the resources with the same ID, click yes. Then save the changes.
That's it. Now open it up and viola a facelift!
